Meet your wear it pink team

To help you put faces to names, we’d like to introduce you to each member of the wear it pink team.

Kinie

Kinie manages wear it pink and is the leader of the pack. She’s been working in fundraising events for 10 years, so you’re in very good hands. In the past Kinie trekked along the Great Wall of China and ran the London Marathon in 2021 – so she has plenty of energy to lead this campaign.

What were your highlights from this year's wear it pink day?

I loved hearing about amazing things our supporters got up to. And I really enjoyed getting involved in our own events at the Breast Cancer Now offices.

Imagine your perfect wear it pink day – what activity would you choose to do?

I think I’d choose a baking competition. I'd love to see how creative people could get with baking lots of different pink treats.

What's the best pink item you own?

I have some amazing pink trainers, which complete my pink outfit for wear it pink day!

Sarah

Sarah’s in charge of making sure you have all the information you need to make your wear it pink events a success! She brings her expertise from working fundraising events to help make wear it pink a big success.

Imagine your perfect wear it pink day - what activity would you choose to do?

One of the best ways to wear it pink is to turn a hobby or an activity you already do pink! I love dancing, so I’d say my perfect event would be an evening where everyone can get together, dress up in pink and dance the night away.

What were your highlights from this year's wear it pink day?

It was great to get involved in our own wear it pink event in the Breast Cancer Now office. It's always so much fun to get dressed up. We organise a clothes swap every year, and I bagged some amazing finds on our clothes rail this year!

What's the best pink item you own?

The best pink item I own has to be my favourite fluffy pink jumper! It’s the brightest shade of fuchsia and perfect for wearing in the cold Autumn and Winter weather.

Imagine your perfect wear it pink day - what activity would you choose to do?

I also love dancing so I would try to include that in my wear it pink day. Perhaps a picnic outside, with music and lots of dancing!

What were your highlights from this year's wear it pink day?

We had loads of fun wearing it pink in the office this year. We had a raffle and quizzes and we decorated the office with lots of pink decorations. The kitchen was filled with pink cakes and other treats.

What’s the best pink item you own?

That’s a tough one; I seem to have a lot of pink accessories... Including my phone case and water bottle! But it may have to be my pink blusher.
