What is Wear It Pink?

Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people wear pink in their communities, schools or work places to raise money for life-saving science and life-changing support.

Why do we Wear It Pink for breast cancer?

New discoveries. Better treatments. Cures. None of it can happen without your support.

We have a bold vision. That by 2050, everyone with breast cancer will live and live well. We can't do it on our own. But together, we can make change happen. Now.

Together, we’ve been wearing it pink for 25 years.

You’ve worn shades of pink at dress-down days, bake sales, netball tournaments, wild swims, knitting sessions and even bra displays! You’ve had a whole lot of fun and raised over £45 million in the process.

It’s an amazing achievement, but we can’t stop there. We're on a mission -- to get to the day when no one dies of breast cancer. And we can't do it without you.

So wear pink. Share pink. Dye your hair pink. Show you care pink. However you do it, join Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink this October and help us change the future of breast cancer. Now.

We wanted to help families like ours and help raise funds for ground-breaking research. So, our Wear It Pink charity night was born! We need to make people aware of Breast Cancer Now and what they do to help people with a breast cancer diagnosis. We’re truly proud to be part of Wear It Pink and what it stands for.
