Top tips for a 'hybrid' wear it pink

Are people coming along to your wear it pink event in-person and online? We’ve got you covered with our tips for a hybrid event, to make sure everyone feels involved and you can still raise those all-important funds!

1. Set up a JustGiving Page

Set up your wear it pink JustGiving page. It’s one of the easiest ways for friends, colleagues, and family members to donate towards your fundraiser - and it’s cash-free, so everyone can donate easily. Once you’ve set your page up, you can share the link as soon as you’re ready.

2. Set up a group chat to share your snaps

If you’re wearing pink at work, you could set up a Microsoft Teams channel or a group WhatsApp chat. You can then use the chat to share your fabulous wear it pink outfits and anything else you want to share on the day. This way all guests will feel involved whether they’re there in person or virtually.

3. Make your games suitable for everyone to take part

When deciding what games to do at your event, try to pick ones that work for people physically at the event or those attending virtually. The Big Pink Quiz is a great game that will work for everyone taking part.

4. Complete a group challenge together on the day

This could be anything from a lunchtime walk dressed in pink to making pink smoothies together to start the day. Ask colleagues attending virtually to send pictures or videos in your chat so you can see how everyone is getting on.

5. Organise a free prize draw

You can share pictures of the prizes with all your guests, and they can give a suggested donation via your JustGiving page. Having E-Gift cards donated could work well and would save on posting out the prizes. We recommend calling local businesses and seeing if they’d be willing to donate some prizes to your free prize draw.

6. Change the date if you need to

You could spread your activities across the week, how about bingo on a Monday, bake sale on a Wednesday, and wearing pink on a Friday. Or instead, you could choose a day where the most people are in the office. Whatever works for you.

No matter how you take part, your support means so much
