Celia’s vegetarian sandwich recipe

Celia’s vegetarian sandwiches were a real hit at her Afternoon Tea, she said she’s never had so many compliments as she did with these sandwiches!

Veggie sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • A tub of hummus 
  • 1 Red onion (thinly sliced) 
  • 1 bag of baby spinach leaves 
  • A loaf of bread  
  • Butter (for spreading)  

Method:

  1. Just butter your bread as normal, spread on a layer of hummus and top with thinly sliced red onion and baby spinach leaves 

Top tip:

You can use different flavor houmous’s so you have a selection of choices.
