Access fund

Our services are always free, thanks to our generous supporters. But we know that getting to our services, booking accommodation, and making other arrangements might still cost you money. Our access fund offers financial support so that everyone affected by breast cancer can use our services.

What can the Access Fund help you with?

We consider access needs on a case-by-case basis. Here are some examples of how we can support you in attending our services:

  1. Booking and paying for a taxi to your local session
  2. Reimbursing mileage, parking or other transport fees
  3. Booking and paying for train fares
  4. Booking and paying for accommodation if you’re travelling a long distance
  5. Providing a BSL interpreter for short courses
  6. Booking and paying for childcare if this is a barrier to you attending a course

Thanks to the Access Fund, I’ve been able to participate in monthly group meetings that are incredibly meaningful. Every month, I request transportation from the Access Fund team who promptly organise a taxi for me. The team is friendly, responsive, and helpful, giving me peace of mind. I’m very grateful for their support!

ASDA Tickled Pink campaign

We're able to offer the Access Fund thanks to help from one of our key partners, Asda. Asda is our biggest and longest-running award-winning partnership.

The partnership has supported breast cancer charities for over 25 years. Having raised over £90 million through their Tickled Pink campaign so far, the partnership unites Asda colleagues and customers nationwide. Their support makes it possible for us to offer services like the Access Fund.
