Shine a light on breast cancer for a brighter future

Research is key to a future with better ways of preventing, detecting and treating breast cancer. So that one day, everyone who develops breast cancer lives, and is supported to live well. This Christmas, will you help us shine more light on this disease?

Shine a light this Christmas

Our researchers have made an incredible discovery - we’ve found that a personalised blood test can predict breast cancer coming back months or even years earlier than hospital scans. This could pave the way for a new era – one where treatment for recurring breast cancer can be started much earlier. Before the cancer shows up on a scan, and crucially, before it’s spread.

We couldn’t continue research like this without supporters like you. Please will you help us make more discoveries, shining more and more light on breast cancer?

This would mean everything for people like Vivien

This time last year, Vivien was struggling with the news that her breast cancer had come back after treatment. Her GP found a lump that hadn’t shown up on a normal mammogram. And unfortunately, it had already spread to her bones and become incurable.

If breast cancer is going to come back, I’d just love there to be a way of knowing early on, and having help right at the beginning.”
