Help us update our health information by sharing quotes about your experience of supporting a partner through breast cancer, and reviewing the booklet to make sure the information is accurate.
The health information team are currently updating our printed information for partners of people who've been diagnosed with breast cancer.
As well as giving practical information about what to expect, we’d like to share some quotes from people who've been through a similar experience. We want to make sure that real experiences are reflected in our information, and to share knowledge and suggestions that might help others.
We'd also like partners of people with breast cancer to review the booklet to make sure that its content is as accurate and relevant as possible.
We’re looking for partners of people who have, or have had, a breast cancer diagnosis to share their experience, or to review to booklet (or both!).
If you have, or have had, a breast cancer diagnosis and have a partner, please share this with them to complete.
We want to make sure that real experiences are reflected in our information, and to share knowledge and suggestions that might help others.
By sharing your experience you’ll be helping to make our information more personal and relatable to other people going through a similar experience.
Reviewing the booklet will make sure that the content we're producing is as relevant and accurate as possible.
We’d like you to fill out an online form covering a range of topics related to your experience of your partner's breast cancer diagnosis. This should take around 10 minutes. Some quotes may be redacted to ensure they’re anonymous or edited for clarity, but we won’t change the meaning or tone of what you’ve told us.
If you’ve had a breast cancer diagnosis, please share the form with your partner to complete.
At the end of the form, you'll also be able to say whether you'd like to review the booklet once it's been written.
If you'd like to review the booklet, we'll send it to you via email as a Word document. We'll ask you to read through it and let us know what you think of the content and whether you think any changes should be made. You can do this by commenting on the document and sending it back to us, or by writing your thoughts in an email.
To get involved, please fill out the online questionnaire, or share it with your partner to fill in. We might not be able to use all the quotes we receive, but we’re really grateful for any information you can share.
If you'd like to review the booklet but don't want to give any quotes, please email Emma at health-info@breastcancernow.org.
This opportunity has expired. You can check out our Share your voice page for more ways to get involved.
