What’s the project about?
M&S partners with Breast Cancer Now to help improve things for people diagnosed with breast cancer. This includes their post-surgery bra range.
They want to understand what women who’ve had a double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction want from a bra. This will help them create a range which meets the needs of women who’ve had this type of surgery.
Who can take part?
You can take part if you’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer, and had a single or double mastectomy with reconstruction as part of your surgery.
Why do you want me to be involved?
M&S are a long term partner of Breast Cancer Now, and we want to support them to develop a post-surgery range that is most relevant for women's needs. Your insight will help ensure that M&S are hearing directly from women with breast cancer, so they can make their range the best it can be.
What will you ask me to do?
You’ll be invited to attend an online focus group. The focus group will last about 1 and a half hours, and you’ll be able to talk about your experience of finding a post-surgery bra, and what you’d like to see in the M&S range.
The date of the focus group is not yet set, but is likely to be at 5.30pm on either

- Thursday 22 August
- Wednesday 28 August
