Take part in an online focus group to help us understand how we can improve our evaluations of our services to best measure their impact for people who use them.
Our evaluation team aims to understand what the impact of our services is on those who use them, as well as what we can do to improve our services.
When we talk about impacts, this could be anything - from feeling more connected to others, gaining more knowledge about a particular topic, feeling more confident to ask questions of your treatment team, to being able to make positive lifestyle changes - and anything in between!
We want to make sure we ask the right questions about the impact of a service in our evaluations to understand what’s working and what we can do better.
We’re planning to run a focus group with people who’ve used our services in the past to understand what impact they had on you (positive or negative). We also want to hear how you think we could best ask people in our evaluations about the impact of our services.
We’re looking to speak with anyone who’s previously used one of Breast Cancer Now's services. This could be:
It’s vitally important that we incorporate lived experience in the design of our evaluations - it ensures we’re asking the right questions, in the right way.
Your involvement helps make our evaluations better, which in turn can improve the services we offer to people affected by breast cancer.
We’ll be running a focus group which will be online (via Zoom) on Thursday 25 January 2024. It’ll last 1.5 hours, from 10am to 11.30am.
This will be a chance to talk about how our services have impacted you. We’ll also ask how you think our evaluations can be improved to help us best understand the impact of our services.
There won't be any preparation work ahead of time.
