The impact of support networks for people with breast cancer

Fill out a survey to help shape a research study about how charities help people with breast cancer.

What’s the title of the study?

What are the support networks available to breast cancer patients?

What’s the project about?

Researchers at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine want to understand how charities can help people with breast cancer through providing support networks.

They’re developing a research study to investigate how support networks can be beneficial for people with breast cancer. By understanding the role of charities in helping people with breast cancer, they hope to improve the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of people with breast cancer.

They’d like to hear about your experience of breast cancer, or of supporting someone through it, to help inform the design of the study and to shape their application for funding.

Who can take part?

You can take part if you’ve had a breast cancer diagnosis, or if someone you love or care for has.

Why do you want me to be involved?

By sharing your experience, you’ll help the researchers apply for funding for the research.

What will you ask me to do?

The researchers would like you to fill in a short online survey. This will ask you questions about your experience of your breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

The survey is anonymous and will take about 10 minutes to complete.
