See the impact of Breast Cancer Now’s forum support live on stage!

What’s the project?

This powerful, moving and sometimes humorous play follows the lives of five (fictitious) women diagnosed with breast cancer who meet online through Breast Cancer Now’s online Forum. The women develop friendships and share their experiences, emotions and feelings whilst living with breast cancer. 

The play is based on research carried out at the University of Sheffield in collaboration with Breast Cancer Now, and demonstrates the impact of this wonderful service.

After the performance, the audience will have the opportunity to discuss the issues raised in the play with the cast and the researchers. A Space for Sharing has received very positive feedback from people living with breast cancer, health care professionals and the general public.

No matter what your experience of breast cancer, we think you’ll find something to connect with in this show – you can also invite your friends and family to come along. Places are limited so please register early and if you later aren’t able to come, do let us know so we can ensure tickets are available for others.
