Survey for the National Audits of Primary & Metastatic Breast Cancer
For many years Breast Cancer Now has campaigned for data on secondary breast cancer to be collected. This data is vital to understanding and meeting the needs of those living with the disease.
Most recently, we campaigned for a secondary breast cancer audit to ensure this data is collected. Thanks to our amazing supporters, this was successful, and a new national metastatic (secondary) breast cancer audit is now in progress, to cover England and Wales. We’re continuing to campaign for improved data collection in Scotland. Alongside the metastatic breast cancer audit, there will also be a new primary breast cancer audit.
We’d like your opinion on what data the audits will collect.
The National Cancer Audit Collaborating Centre are looking for views on current issues in treatment and care for people with secondary or primary breast cancer. You can make your voice heard today by filling in this short online survey by 12:00pm on 13 March 2023.
Anyone who has had a primary or secondary breast cancer diagnosis.
By filling in this online survey and sharing your experiences, you can help shape what data the new audit will collect. The audit will be vital to understanding and meeting the needs of those living with secondary breast cancer. Alongside a new primary breast cancer audit, it will ensure that the NHS is planning services informed by real data.
You’re invited to fill in this short online survey which will ask you about your opinions on what data the new audits should collect.
The survey will take 5 minutes.
