Complete and share our Big Breast Cancer survey to help us understand the biggest challenges facing people affected by breast cancer, and shape the direction of the charity’s new strategy.
What’s the project about?
We're carrying out a research project focused on understanding the biggest challenges and most important issues for people affected by breast cancer.
This research will help us decide what we need to prioritise in our new organisational strategy, and shape our direction as a charity over the coming years.
We’ve launched The Big Breast Cancer Survey which is open until 16 October. We’ll also be carrying out some focus groups and interviews.
We want to hear from as many people as possible from across the UK, and especially from people we may not already be in contact with and from often under-represented groups and communities.
We know there are people who we’re not in contact with, who we’d love to hear from. So we want to ask you to share our survey on social media to let you friends, family and any other networks you’re part of know about it.
Who’s organising it?
Name of project lead: Susanna Glover
Job title: Involvement manager
Organisation: Breast Cancer Now
Who can take part?
Anyone can take part in the survey.
We're especially looking for good representation across:
- People who've had primary breast cancer
- People living with secondary breast cancer
- Close family members and friends of people who've had breast cancer
- People at higher risk of breast cancer due to their family history or genetics
Why do you want me to be involved?
You can reach people we don’t already have contact with, so by sharing the survey on social media, you’ll be helping us to make sure that our research represents everyone affected by breast cancer.
What will you ask me to do?
We’d love for you to fill out the survey and let us know what your priorities, concerns and challenges are.
We also want to make sure the survey reaches as many people as possible to make sure they have a voice in the future of our work.
So, we’d like you to also share this survey on social media – you can use our suggested messaging to help you.
When's the deadline?
16 October 2024
