Event: Let’s Talk about Cancer - Nutrition and Lifestyle

Categories: Patient & Carer, Nutrition

Join an online event to hear from a leading expert in how nutrition can make a difference in each stage of the cancer experience.

What's the event about?

The East of England Cancer Alliance’s Patient Partnership Group is hosting a series of talks and information sessions. They aim to raise awareness of different issues around cancer, and to give people a chance to ask questions to experts.

This event, Let's talk about Cancer - Nutrition and Lifestyle, is the second in the series. Professor Robert Thomas, consultant oncologist and author, and one of the Patient Partnership Group members will share their knowledge and experiences of nutrition and lifestyle in relation to cancer.

They’ll talk about how small changes can make a big difference to our lives, whether you’re preparing for treatment, recovering from treatment, or living with and beyond cancer. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions.

Why will this be interesting for me?

Nutrition plays an important role in our lives and can affect one’s experiences in cancer. This talk will give you the chance to hear expert advice and experiences around nutrition and cancer, and give you the chance to ask any questions you may have around the topic.

Who is it relevant for?

Anyone’s who’s interested in the topic of cancer and nutrition can attend.

Any other important information?

If you can’t make this event, the recording will be made available on the website at a later date, so you can watch it back.

This is the second in the Let’s Talk About Cancer event series. If you’d like to watch the recording of the first event, Let’s Talk About Cancer - the common signs and symptoms, you can find it on the website.
