Join a focus group and share how you’ve been involved in research into triple negative breast cancer and help researchers improve treatment and outcomes.
Project title: Triple negative breast cancer co-operative research platform.
Researchers would like to talk to people who’ve had a diagnosis of triple negative breast cancer within the last 5 years.
Researchers from across the UK are working together to design a number of studies that will cover the entire patient treatment and care pathway from diagnosis of triple negative breast cancer through to long-term follow-up.
They want to design a programme of research with the aim to improve treatment for patients with triple negative breast cancer.
As part of this, they’d like to hear about your experiences of being invited to, or taking part in, any research studies at the time you were diagnosed or during your treatment for cancer.
People who’ve had a diagnosis of triple negative breast cancer within the last 5 years.
Your thoughts and insight will help researchers design a programme of research that focuses on things important to you. This could improve treatment and care for people diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in the future.
You’ll be invited to join one of 2 online focus groups of up to 8 people. The focus groups will be held on Tuesday 20th June and Wednesday 5th July and will last between 60 and 90 minutes.
The researchers will ask you about your experiences of being invited to, or taking part in, any research studies following your cancer diagnosis.
You’ll also be asked to share your views on the best ways to carry out research to help improve treatment of people who are diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in the future.
You can read more on the information flyer.
