Conversations about cancer - secondary breast cancer videos

Categories: Secondary BC, Personal Diagnosis

Complete an online survey to help us plan what topics we should include in a conversational video series about secondary breast cancer.

What’s the project about?

Our multimedia team are in the planning stages of creating several video-based projects, with a focus on secondary breast cancer.

For one of these projects, initially named ‘Breast Cancer Conversations’, we plan to film people with a secondary breast cancer diagnosis, having frank and honest conversations about their experiences. We may also ask friends and family to take part in these conversations.

The finalised films will form a series of videos, which will be made publicly available online, via YouTube and our social media channels. We hope that recording these conversations can help to inform people about topics which often are not addressed.

We’d like to hear from you about what you feel is important to include in these conversations.

Who can take part?

You can take part if you’re living with secondary breast cancer.

Why do you want me to be involved?

It’s important that we understand what topics are important to you, what you’d like people to understand, and what topics are often overlooked that need to be talked about.

This will allow us to make sure that the videos can help people understand more about secondary breast cancer and talk about topics they may not have felt able to before.

What will you ask me to do?

We’ll ask you to complete an online survey. The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete and can be completely anonymous.

You’ll also be able to say whether you’d like to take part in the filming.

How do I get involved?

Please complete the survey.
