Can you help us review some information?

Categories: Women, Prostheses

We are updating our information booklet on breast prostheses, bras and clothing after surgery, and are looking for people to review it for us.

What's the project about?

Breast Cancer Now’s Health Information team are currently reviewing and updating our publication on Breast prostheses, bras and clothes after surgery. We are looking for people to help us review and give feedback on the information.

Why do you want me to be involved?

All our health information is reviewed by healthcare professionals and people affected by breast cancer to ensure it is clinically accurate and user-friendly. As a reviewer you will be an important part of the process to produce high quality patient information for people affected by breast cancer. We would like a mix of people to review this information for us- those who wear or have worn a prosthesis, and those who have chosen not to wear a prosthesis after surgery. This is to make sure our information accurately reflects real experiences.

What will you ask me to do?

We will send you the draft text via email, along with a reviewing guidance document. You can add comments, make changes and send the document back to us via email. We welcome all feedback.

Who can take part?

People who have had surgery to treat breast cancer and have either worn/currently wear a prosthesis of any type, or who have chosen not to wear a prosthesis.
