Sign up to be a case study with Breast Cancer Voices and have the chance to share your experience of getting involved with Voices, and why it matters to you.
What’s the project about?
We want to share all the amazing ways that you get involved in our work and in changing the face of breast cancer. Doing this shows staff and other project leads the impact it can make to involve Breast Cancer Voices in their work, and can encourage more people to do the same. It also means that we can celebrate together everything we achieve for people diagnosed with breast cancer in the future.
We’re currently putting together our comms plan for the next year, and want to make sure that there are chances for people to share something they’ve done with Breast Cancer Voices that’s been important to them.
We’d love for you to sign up to be a case study, so that we can have a pool of people that we can invite to share their story at different times.
Who can take part?
You can sign up as a case study if you’ve taken part in an opportunity through a Voices bulletin, louder Voice email or personal invitation and you’d like to share it. Or, if you'd like to talk about what being part of Breast Cancer Voices means to you.
If you haven’t done anything with Voices yet that you’d like to talk about that’s okay – we always want to hear from people about what they’ve done, so you can fill in the form at a later time, and we’ll also be doing regular call outs.
Why do you want me to be involved?
By sharing your story and being a case study with us, you can help to raise the profile of Breast Cancer Voices and the incredible work you do. We hope this will lead to more people signing up as Voices and more staff and project leads involving Voices in their work.
Ultimately, this will ensure that our work, and breast cancer research and care across the UK is increasingly shaped by and beneficial for people with lived experience of breast cancer.
What will you ask me to do?
We’d like you to fill out a short form outlining what being part of Voices means to you, or an opportunity you’ve done that you’d like to talk about. If you’re currently part of something that you’d like to talk about at a later date you can indicate that as well.
There are a number of different opportunities to share your story thatwe may approach you about, such as
- Being a guest Voice for the Voices bulletin
- Sharing a personal story
- Being part of a lunch and learn session for staff
- Being part of a training or educational session, event or conference
Depending on the opportunities that come up, we may not be able to offer everyone who fills out a form the opportunity to be case study, or you may not hear from us for a while. However, we really appreciate and value your willingness to share your experience with us.
We’re planning on offering training about sharing your story to people who’ve signed up to be a case study. You’ll be able to tell us in the form whether you’d be interested in this, and if so, we’ll be in touch in the future about it.
