Attend the Manchester Breast Centre Symposium and hear about the latest research in breast cancer detection, treatment and care, and have the chance to talk to researchers and other people affected by breast cancer.

Event description

The Manchester Breast Centre is hosting their annual symposium on Thursday 18 July.

This free event provides an opportunity for researchers at all levels from the Manchester Breast Centre to share their work, learn from, and network with each other.

Although this is primarily a scientific meeting, it’s also open to anyone affected by breast cancer who’d like to attend.

During the day, there will be talks by researchers about the exciting projects they’re currently working on. This includes talks on

  • Breast cancer vulnerabilities and treatment
  • Predicting breast cancer recurrence
  • Modelling and treating secondary breast cancer

There’ll also be a poster presentation by PHD students about their research.

A free lunch will be provided, and there’ll be plenty of opportunities for you to chat to other attendees and researchers.
