Share your opinion on plans for research into making breast cancer trials more efficient and beneficial for people with breast cancer.
Researchers from Newcastle University are designing a research project which aims to improve clinical trials by using alternative measurements obtained from routinely collected breast cancer data.
They hope that this will help to speed up the process and reduce the cost of running trials that find reliable answers about potential new treatments for breast cancer.
They would like your input on the ideas and plans for the project by inviting you to join a virtual discussion.
As someone affected by breast cancer, your insight will mean that this research is shaped by your experience and insight and will be more relevant and more likely to make a difference to breast cancer patients' lives.
You’re invited to join a virtual meeting on Thursday 26 January at 2pm. This will be a one-hour chat with researcher, Dr Dorcas Kareithi (Newcastle University), to explore opinions and ideas.
The meeting will be facilitated by Alex Bevin-Nicholls, Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Manager at the NIHR Research Design Service North East and North Cumbria.
Up to 6 people can join this meeting so that everyone can share their views in the discussion. You will receive a £25 gift card of your choice to thank you for your time.
Anyone who has personal experience of breast cancer.
