Workplace relationships and cancer diagnosis

Take part in an online interview exploring how social workplace relationships are affected after a cancer diagnosis.

What’s the study about?

This study is looking to explore how a breast, bowel or prostate cancer diagnosis impacts employees and their social relationships at work. A diagnosis can affect these relationships, which can contribute to loneliness.

This project will help understand how workplace relationships are affected by a cancer diagnosis.

Who can take part?

You can take part in the study if you’re:

  • Between the ages of 18 and 66
  • Speak English
  • Are employed in the United Kingdom
  • Have access to the internet

You must also be in remission.

Why do you want me to be involved?

Your personal experience and voice will help to raise awareness of cancer and its effect on workplace relationships. It can also help inform future research and practice.

What will you ask me to do?

You’ll take part in an informal, online interview via Microsoft Teams. This will last for approximately 45 minutes.
