What’s the study about?

This study wants to find out about the hidden financial costs and supportive care needs experienced by those affected by breast cancer. This is to improve support for people affected by breast cancer.

The researchers would like people affected by breast cancer to tell them their experiences about these issues. This includes patients, relatives and friends who have cared for someone with breast cancer.

What are the criteria for taking part?

You must have lived experience as a patient or as a relative/friend who has cared for someone with breast cancer and received treatment in the UK. If you, as a patient, have already completed the survey, your relatives/friends are also welcome to complete it. 

What do I need to do?

If you’d like to take part and you have been a patient with breast cancer, please complete the online patient survey.  It should take about 20 minutes.

If you’d like to take part and you are a relative/friend who has cared for someone with breast cancer, please complete the online carer survey. It should take about 5-10 minutes.
