Positive changes after a difficult experience

Complete an online survey and help researchers test a new way to measure positive change for people who’ve had breast cancer.

What’s the study about?

Post-traumatic Growth (PTG) is when someone experiences a positive change from overcoming a traumatic life experience. The researchers want to test a new way to measure post-traumatic growth among people who’ve had breast cancer.

This study will examine the level of stress and growth after breast cancer. It’ll also look at whether this changes depending on the treatment people had, or on demographic factors.

Who can take part?

You can take part if you’ve had a personal diagnosis of breast cancer.

Why do you want me to be involved?

Your opinion will help the researchers understand people’s experiences of growth after breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

And, the results of this study will be used to develop guidelines for helping people with clinical conditions, especially people with breast cancer.

What will you ask me to do?

You’ll complete an online survey. The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete.
