What's the project about?
The Medicines Repurposing Programme is looking for a Patient and Public Voice Partner to join a new Working Group. The group will support the use of an existing medicine, anastrozole, in a new way: to help prevent breast cancer.
What are the criteria for taking part?
Candidates should have detailed knowledge of breast cancer and current options for prevention and / or treatment from a patient perspective, and a willingness to actively drive the repurposing project forwards. The role is voluntary, however reasonable out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed. The time commitment is approximately 1-2 hours every month for about 18 months.
