New technology to predict chemo response

Take part in a clinical trial testing a new technology that can predict how people with triple negative breast cancer respond to chemotherapy before surgery.

What’s the study about?

At the moment, there’s no good way of predicting who will respond to chemotherapy for triple negative breast cancer. Or, which drugs will work best for them.

In this clinical trial, researchers are testing a new technology to predict which people with triple negative breast cancer will respond to chemotherapy before surgery.

They’re looking for participants for their clinical trial.

Who can take part?

You can take part if you've recently been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer and are about to start chemotherapy before surgery.

Why do you want me to be involved?

By participating, you can help the researchers test a new technology to help predict if people will respond well to chemo. This could ultimately help to identify which drugs might be best for which patient.

What will you ask me to do?

Taking part in the trial will not affect your normal treatment.

You’ll have an additional procedure before you start chemotherapy. The researchers will take a biopsy and a small blood sample (40ml). They’ll use this to test their how accurate their new technology is at predicting people’s responses to chemo.

As this is an observational study, the results won’t be shared with your oncologist.
