Help researchers understand the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on people who had breast cancer

Help researchers understand the lived experience of those living with and beyond breast cancer during the Covid-19 pandemic, to better understand the effect Covid-19 restrictions had on their physical and mental wellbeing.

What's the project about?

Treatments have improved for breast cancer, but many people living with and beyond cancer still report a poor quality of life once their treatment has stopped. The Covid-19 pandemic has led to more complex issues for those living with and beyond breast cancer, as they are at higher risk of complications.

This study hopes to explore the experience of those living with and beyond cancer during the Covid-19 pandemic. The researchers aim to understand the impact of the pandemic’s restrictions on the day-to-day physical and mental wellbeing of this group.

What are the criteria for taking part?

You can take part if you are in remission from cancer and were diagnosed over the age of 18. You must have completed your treatment in the UK and were living in the UK during the pandemic. You must also have access to the internet to be interviewed online.
