Fill out an online survey to help researchers understand what type of exercise works best for people who’ve finished treatment for primary breast cancer.
What’s the title of the study?
Cancer survivors' experiences of physical activity and exercise throughout the continuum
What’s the study about?
Exercise can have a positive impact for people who are diagnosed with cancer. However, it’s not always clear for people who’ve finished their treatment what exercise to do and how frequently.
This study is looking at how people who’ve finished their cancer treatment experience exercise. It aims to understand what type of exercise people commonly do, what intensity and how often.
The researchers hope that this can result in better guidance for people going through and finishing cancer treatment.
Who can take part?
You can take part if you’ve had a diagnosis of primary breast cancer (or a different type of cancer) and have finished treatment
Why do you want me to be involved?
Doing more physical activity has clear benefits to cancer patients, including physiological, psychological and quality of life benefits.
Understanding your experiences of exercise can help researchers create effective guidelines and recommendations with.
This could help to increase the amount of physical activity that people living beyond breast cancer do, and ultimately improve outcomes for them.
What will you ask me to do?
The researcher would like you to complete an anonymous online survey. The survey will take you about 20 minutes to complete.
You’ll be asked about your experience of exercise, both during and after treatment.
How do I get involved?
Please complete the survey.
When’s the deadline?
