Emotional wellbeing in women diagnosed with cancer

Complete a survey to help researchers understand how cancer can affect your relationship with yourself, your body and nature.

What’s the study about?

Researchers are hoping to understand how receiving a cancer diagnosis can affect women’s emotional wellbeing. Through an online survey, they hope to learn more about your relationship to nature and your body and how you’ve been affected by cancer.

The results of this study could help researchers find ways to support women with cancer and improve their emotional wellbeing.

Who can take part?

You can take part if you:

  • Live in the UK
  • Are 18 years or older
  • Identify as female
  • Speak English
  • And have been diagnosed with cancer

You must also be currently seeking treatment, or have sought treatment in the last 18 months.

Why do you want me to be involved?

Participating in this research will help researchers understand how a cancer diagnosis can impact your emotional wellbeing. And, it could help inform better ways to improve emotional wellbeing.

What will you ask me to do?

You’ll be asked to fill in an online survey, which will take around 30 minutes to complete. The survey is anonymous.

The survey will have 4 parts, and will include questions focused on body image, body appreciation, and connectedness to nature. There will also be more open questions where you can provide more information.
