Information point volunteer

Help make sure our information and resources are readily available by becoming an information point volunteer.

As an information point volunteer, you will help connect people to Breast Cancer Now and the work we do to support those living with breast cancer.

By volunteering 1 to 2 hours a month, you will ensure people have access to clear and helpful information on breast cancer and what support and treatments are available.

Information points help give people easy access to resources when they visit breast clinics. They also make it easier for healthcare professionals to provide information.

You don’t need any previous knowledge of breast cancer or to have had a diagnosis to be an information point volunteer.

What’s an information point volunteer?

As an information point volunteer, you will help connect people to Breast Cancer Now and the work we do to support those living with breast cancer.

By volunteering 1 to 2 hours a month you will update information points at breast cancer clinics, so people have access to clear and helpful information on breast cancer and what support and treatments are available.

Our information points ensure people visiting breast clinics have easy access to information leaflets and resources and make it easier for healthcare professionals to provide information.

I absolutely love being an information point volunteer at my local hospital. I get so much pleasure and satisfaction knowing that the charity's leaflets are helping local patients, providing them with all the resources they need when they are, at times, at their most vulnerable.
