What are event support volunteers?
Each year, hundreds of people take part in events like the London Marathon to help raise vital funds for our lifesaving research and life-changing care. And you could be there, cheering them on and giving them the encouragement they need to get across the finish line.
Do I need any experience?
No! Just the confidence to cheer, shout and make lots of noise.
What support will I receive?
You’ll get a volunteer handbook, full of useful information about volunteering with us. You’ll get a briefing, and ongoing support from the staff team on the day, plus a Breast Cancer Now t-shirt, and light refreshments.
What's the time commitment?
This is a one-off volunteering role that happens a few times a year.
