Sarah, senior involvement officer

My name’s Sarah and I joined Breast Cancer now at the end of 2022. My role is to share with you all the different ways that people can get involved in shaping breast cancer research, policy and support in Breast Cancer Now and beyond. And I support staff across the charity to understand the best ways to involve people in their work.

It’s also my job to make sure that being a Voice is a positive experience for everyone. We’re committed to being inclusive and equitable in everything we do. We’re working to ensure that Voices is accessible for everyone affected by breast cancer, and that your diverse experiences are heard.

My favourite part of my role is getting to know our Voices. Hearing your stories and seeing your passion and dedication to improving things for others is truly inspiring.

Zoe, involvement manager

Hello, I’m Zoe, Involvement Manager. I’ve been working on patient involvement and service improvement projects at Breast Cancer Now since 2021, and took on the Involvement Manager role in October 2024.

My role with Voices is to ensure our colleagues understand how best to involve you in their projects. So they can make the most of your incredible expertise and range of experiences, and ensure everything we do is shaped by your voices. It’s so exciting to work with such a diverse community with a diverse range of experiences. You are all so passionate about using your experiences for the benefit of others.

Thank you for being part of our Voices community!
