The Good Grief Trust
The Good Grief Trust provides information, and practical and emotional support for when you experience grief, or if you need to support someone else experiencing grief and loss.

Stopping charity mailings
Fundraising Preference Service - this is a free service, run by the Fundraising Regulator, that can help you to end contact with charities you no longer want to hear from.

Preventing post from new organisations
The Bereavement Register - by registering with this free service, the names and addresses of your loved one are removed from mailing lists, stopping most advertising mail within as little as 6 weeks.
The Mailing Preference Service - by registering with this service, the name of your loved one can be taken off direct mailing lists.

Stopping post from known organisations
To stop mail from known organisations, it works best to make direct contact with them by post, email or phone.
Let them know the person’s full name and postal address, advise them of the person's death, and ask them to remove them from mailing lists.
