The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Breast Cancer (APPGBC) exists to raise the profile of breast cancer issues within parliament. We provide the Secretariat to the APPG on breast cancer.
The APPG provides a forum for MPs and Peers to discuss the most important issues affecting women and men with breast cancer.
It also encourages dialogue between parliamentarians, government, the NHS and, most importantly, those living with or affected by the disease.
Following the calling of the general election on 30 May 2024, parliament was dissolved. This meant there were no sitting MPs or APPGs.
Since the election on 4 July, both new and returning MPs are busy deciding which issues to support.
We’re building relationships with MPs and Peers who are keen to champion breast cancer and we’ll be reforming the APPG on breast cancer in due course.
