I’m a qualified chartered accountant. I worked for many years as an investment banker, and then investment manager, at Schroders plc. After that, I was an advisor at Citizens Advice for 8 years. But it was my own experience of breast cancer that motivated me to join Breast Cancer Care’s board as treasurer in 2016. Then in 2019, I became chair of the charity as we know it today.
The support the charity gave me through my breast cancer diagnosis and beyond was life-changing. By being on the board, I can help make sure that other people affected by breast cancer get the same brilliant support. And much-needed hope for the future too.
