Shortly after finishing chemotherapy for a recurrence of breast cancer, Tamsin developed lymphoedema in various parts of her body. She shares her experience and tips for managing the condition.

I felt like I didn't have the right to complain

When she first developed , Tamsin didn’t know much about the condition. However, she soon found that it affected lots of areas of her life – from what she was able to wear, to how she was able to move, to how comfortable she felt in her own body.

Over time, she has been able to adapt to her condition. Tune in to hear about how she has learnt to cope with lymphoedema, and the steps she still takes in order to manage symptoms.

I think there was a part of me that thought, well, this isn’t cancer – this is a chronic condition, I can learn to live with it. But on the other hand, I didn’t really know what lymphoedema was.
