I’ve been hosting a Big Pink for 15 years. I thought it would be brilliant to have my friends over for a special pink party and to have fun whilst raising money for Breast Cancer Care. Everyone loved it so much I decided to have one every October.
We’ve done a range of things for our Big Pink – parties, car boot sales and three-legged races. We have a different theme every year! Last year we made our Big Pink 'Liverpool' themed, as it’s our home town.
I love hosting my Big Pink and having a laugh with my friends. It’s so rewarding to be able to donate everything to a good cause at the end of the evening.
My top tip for anyone planning a Big Pink is to involve as many people as you can. Ask them to come up with ideas to raise money on the night, bring their own games and food and get everyone to join in the fun!
