'We'd like to thank everyone who’s donated to Breast Cancer Care as part of the #nomakeupselfie trend. This will raise funds to help us provide essential support including our freephone Helpline and face-to-face services' said Andy Harris Director of Fundraising and Marketing at Breast Cancer Care.
Commenting on the #nomakeupselfie trend he added:
'Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and it’s vital we support the thousands of women who face the devastating physical and emotional impact of living with the disease every day. We couldn’t carry on our work without the generosity of the public. If you would like to donate £3 please text CARE to 70300.”
