The General Election is nearly here. Read about our plans to make sure that breast cancer is an election priority.
1. There’s never been a better time to get loud
With the General Election just around the corner election candidates and MPs will be speaking to as many of their constituents as possible. There’s never been a better time to ask them what they think about policies that affect you.
2. Breast Cancer Care volunteers are already making a noise
Breast Cancer Care volunteers are hosting ‘Breast Cancer Question Time’ events with their election candidates to find out more about their priorities for cancer ahead of the General Election on 7 May.
3. You can get involved
The events are completely free to attend; just register for a ticket if you’d like to come along.
There are events taking place in:
- Solihull Birmingham
- Enfield Southgate North London
- Stretford and Urmston Manchester
- Greenwich and Woolwich South London
- Pendle Lancashire
- Cardiff West

4. You can ask your own question, maybe even two
You can send in your questions for the candidates in advance by emailing campaigns@breastcancercare.org.uk or just come along to listen to the discussion.
5. You can tell your next MP about Breast Cancer Care’s wish list for the next Government
If there isn’t a Breast Cancer Question Time event in your area you can send an email to your local election candidates - it’s quick and easy to do just fill in your details and edit the template email to give it some personal touches.
